One concept behind xmlDig is to allow for any SQL Query to be entered in as a parameter, and it would retrieve XML data as the output.

For example, if you entered in a select statement like:
 SELECT OrderId, CustomerName, Addr1, City, State, ZipFROM OrdersWHERE OrderId IN (53, 54, 55)


then the resulting XML would look like:
 <Orders>  <Order>    <OrderId>53</OrderId>    <CustomerName>Jared K.</CustomerName>    <Addr1>459 E. Main St.</Addr1>    <City>Joesville</City>    <State>CA</State>    <Zip>47801</Zip>  </Order>  <Order>    <OrderId>54</OrderId>    <CustomerName>Freddie Mac</CustomerName>    <Addr1>1599 E.
